Izzy took a seat next to Cecily to wait out the rest of her shift. "Has it been busy?"
"Not really." Just then the switchboard lit up. Cecily plugged in something and flipped a couple of switches. "Avonlea, Prince Edward Island, Canada. This is Cecily. May I help you?"
"Cecily? This is Arthur Pettibone."
"Hi," Cecily smiled. "How are you doing?"
"Fine. I need to get a hold of someone from my family. You know where they might be?"
"Well, you're in luck. Izzy's right here with me."
"Great! Put her on."
Cecily handed the switchboard headphones to Izzy. "It's Arthur."
"Arthur!" Izzy got excited.
"Hey, sis!"
"What's going on? Why are you calling?"
"I just called to tell you that Morgan and I will be heading home from Toronto tomorrow."
"You're coming home for a visit."
"That's right, Iz."
"Wonderful!"
"Listen, Iz. I know you're...well...unhappy right now, but Morgan and I thought we would bring you a surprise. A little something that might cheer you up."
"Arthur, just having you and Morgan home will cheer me up."
Arthur smiled into the phone. "We'll bring the surprise anyway."

A few days later Izzy rode out to the whistle stop to pick up her brothers who were coming in on that morning's train. Clive had to go to the Carmody School for the day, and Muriel couldn't leave the store, so Izzy took Muriel's motorcar to pick up her brothers. "Excuse me," Izzy walked over to the man behind the ticket counter.
"Yes, ma'am. May I help you?"
"I was just wondering if you knew if this morning's train is on time."
"Believe so, Miss. Should be here any minute."
"Thank you, sir."
She went sit down on a nearby bench. About five minutes later she heard the whistle of the train. Izzy excitedly got up and walked over to where the people would be exiting the train. She couldn't wait to see her brothers. The train slowed down to a stop and the first few people walked off the train. They were all unfamiliar to her. Finally Morgan jumped out of the train and ran down the stairs to hug his little sister.
"Izzy. I missed you."
"I missed you too, Morgan," she closed her eyes and laughed as Morgan swung her around in circles.
"Don't I get to hug my baby sister?" Arthur's voice came from behind them.
"Arthur," Izzy jumped into his arms. "It is so good to see you."
"Good to see you too, sis." He looked over at Morgan. "She was right, Morgan. We cheered her up. Guess we don't have to give her that surprise after all."
"Hey. I want my surprise!" she complained her hands on her hips.
"All you have to do is look behind you," Arthur said softly with a twinkle in his eyes. Izzy gave her brother a strange look, then slowly turned around. She gasped as she saw what had been standing right behind her.
"Felix!"
