Congratulations to Sarah Polley, who just snagged herself a Canadian Screenwriters Award for her screenplay for Away From Her (based on Alice Munroe’s The Bear Came Over the Mountain. The award is given by the Writer’s Guild of Canada to honour screenplays written for TV and film. This year’s awards were handed out during a ceremony last night.
